Input Power Cable too short - impossible to install with existing outlet box
The Input Power Cable (the cable that you plug into the outlet) is way too short! It's only1 foot long. The problem is that there is absolutely no way to plug this into my Eaton Power Outlet box (see attached pictures) and have enough cable left to mount the charger. Notably, this is the same outlet that I used to power my old JuiceBox EV charger that failed and this was NOT a problem. However, because the plug-in on the end of the ChargePoint input power cable is designed in such a way that the cable goes upward and not downward when plugged in, it is physically impossible to plug it into this style of outlet box because the plug-in won't fit under the lip of the box. Note that the ground is at the top of the outlet and I believe that is per code. If the outlet were to be installed upside down, it might work but it may not be up to code (I'm not sure about that). There are a number of potential solutions to this problem but ultimately, I ordered a 3 foot, 50-amp extension cord from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CJYBXKGP?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1). I can easily plug in the extension cord to the outlet since the cable goes DOWN, not up (see picture) and then plug that into the input power cable on the charger. It's not pretty but it works. Hopefully it's up to code?Bottom line: This installation would have been super easy if ChargePoint would just re-design the plug to match the extension cord design and make the input power cord much longer (3 feet?). The other problem I had with the installation was the connection to my Wifi. I got an error message saying that it could not connect. I simply uninstalled the ChargePoint app and reinstalled the app and then it connected immediately to my wifi.The charger works great and I really like the holder for the charging cable. It's really easy to get in and out of the holder. I also like the way the charger lights up with different colors depending on the charging status.I would give this 5 stars if not for the input power cable problem. It should be long enough to allow the charger to be mounted to a stud a few feet away.

The unit has been operating flawlessly, no issues and it was super easy to install, pair and use.
I'd recommend this unit.. it's well built and doesn't feel cheap... there's probably a reason these guys make the commercial units.
