Easiest Hardwood Floor Refinish

This is the easiest way I've found to give new life to your tired old hardwood floors. No kneeling, no steel wool, no sanding, no fumes, no mess. What is the secret to the lazy-man's way to wood beauty, you ask?

Easiest Hardwood Floor Refinish

My secret weapon is called Minwax Hardwood Floor Reviver. I've used it twice so far and I love it. It's a water-based polyurethane that makes your floors shine better and longer than any wax product. It comes in two sheens: low gloss and high gloss. I was never a fan of high gloss floors that look like a bowling alley, so I use the low gloss. For some reason, my local home centers in New Jersey only stock this product in high gloss. So if you want low gloss, like me, you need to plan ahead and get it from Amazon. Otherwise, if you wait until the day before you want to do it, like me, you'll be scrambling to find an old, dusty bottle at an obscure paint store in driving distance.

I think I gave it around 4 hours. It dries really quickly, so it might feel good but still be soft in spots. You definitely shouldn’t need to wait overnight. Please let me know how yours turns out.
